International Programs Security Requirements Course
If you are involved in negotiating, overseeing, managing, executing or otherwise participating in international business involving technology transfer or foreign disclosure activities, international industrial security, or security arrangements for international programs, you should plan to attend this course. Raytheon Company has announced they will host a local class of the Department of Defense-mandated course International Programs Security Requirements Course on January 13 - 15, 2009 in San Diego, California. The course is open to all DoD and DoD contractor employees involved in programs with DoD international partners. Attendees involved in international activities will be educated in laws, policies and principles necessary to plan for, negotiate, and manage international agreements, contracts, and other such arrangements, including the steps necessary to disclose or export and ensure the protection of both classified and unclassified information and technical data, and necessary contract clauses. Specific lessons cover the governing laws, policies, and principles, handling controlled unclassified information and foreign government information, the National Disclosure Policy, the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), visits and assignments of foreign nationals, the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and Foreign Ownership, Control or Influence (FOCI), and requirements for the international transfer of classified information and material.

Information Systems Security Officer/Security Administrator
Photon Research Associates, Inc. (PRA), a Raytheon Company, is looking for a Information Systems Security Officer/Security Administrator (ISSO/SA) for its San Diego/Sorrento Mesa area location. PRA is a leading provider of computer based R&D services to the defense industry and related commercial markets. The selected ISSO/SA) will develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSP); ensure systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with SSPs; ensure configuration management is maintained and documented; manage access to the systems and ensure users are aware of their security responsibilities; conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with the SSPs. The ISSO/SA will work special security issues and interact with management. Applicant must have sufficient technical experience to implement security requirements outlined in SSPs. In addition, the ISSO/SA will be required to assist in compliance inspections and reviews and conduct audits as required. Training/briefing experience is desired. Security Administrator duties will include assisting the Facility Security Officer as needed with routine security functions such as, document control, personnel security, visitor control, etc.
Selected applicant will be subject to a security investigation(s) and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Current TS/SCI preferred. Successful candidate must have 3+ years of experience as an ISS0 within the DoD and/or Intelligence Community communities. PRA offers a casual working environment and very competitive benefits.
