Chapter Meeting on 15 Feb 2012
Your NCMS Southern California Chapter will hold its first meeting for the 2012 calendar year at the RAND Corporation in Santa Monica on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 11:30 – 1:00pm. Directions to RAND can be found here.
The meeting (and lunch) will be free to NCMS members and $10 for guests. We’ll build in some networking time prior to the start of the meeting. Our guest speaker will be Special Agent Boeing Shih of the Los Angeles FBI Field Office. SA Shih will discuss a recent phishing case that occurred in the Los Angeles area. An itinerary for the meeting is attached.
This is an excellent opportunity to escape from the office for a few hours, network with your fellow security professionals, and to score a free lunch and some DSS Matrix points! We hope to see you there!

All … the newly elected NCMS Southern California chapter officers met as a group
for the first time on Tuesday, January 17, 2012.
One of our early priorities was to establish chapter meeting dates for this year. We have tentatively decided upon the following:
- Wednesday, February 15, 2012, 11:30am-1:00pm
- Thursday, April 19, 2012, 11:30am-1:00pm
- Tuesday, July 10, 2012, 11:30am-1:00pm
- Wednesday, October 3, 2012, 11:30am-1:00pm
